The idea is simple. Have people sing TO and FOR each other on the same day. If enough people around the world share the same positive experience, something incredible might happen. What better way than using the international language of music to promote our common humanity. That’s it. People connecting on an experiential level through singing.
Our goals for 2014 are: 1 million people singing At least 100,000 people singing the same song At least one person from all 196 countries participating
Being involved in music for many years — from songwriting, to performing across North America and Europe, to leading an international music association — I have seen the power that music has to uplift, inspire and bring people together. In fact, I think music might just be the catalyst needed to transform this world.
